The Downcome Series is a lengthy monologue of approximately twenty hours, which has been edited down to twelve manageable parts. The series was recorded and produced in March and April of 2023.

“Downcome” is the name of a distressed-style type font, which hearkens back to the days of Old School Punk and The Grunge Era. The subject matter is topics related to being a burnout through the “Downcome Years” of 1980 through 1997 or so, which is an expression of adolescence and young-adulthood as it was and includes many references to a variety of Rock Music through those times. It also makes many forays into the disturbing issues that drove people into the alternative lifestyles in those days and the subsequent societal normalization of immorality that we are encumbered with in the 2020s.

It is a tale of great woe, painful disillusionment, and of clawing one’s way through time, holding on by whatever means possible in wait of enlightenment and in hope of redemption.
